It is more playful than dramatic, with the hands keeping a steady rhythmic bounce from beginning to end.Measures 1–8 present the first main section. The right hand plays short, quick figures above a steady left-hand pattern, and the 8va marking lifts part of the melody into a brighter register. The texture stays light, with the left hand giving a simple rhythmic foundation while the right hand keeps the scherzando character moving.Measures 9–16 begin the second section with the same basic texture, but the right hand becomes more active and reaches into higher register writing again. The sf and p markings create a quick contrast, and the left hand continues the same broken accompaniment style underneath.Measures 17–24 bring back the opening-style material and close the study. The right hand returns to the short running figures and 8va writing, while the left hand keeps the repeated accompaniment pattern steady.
