The writing is built from broken chord shapes and quick directional changes, creating a restless and energetic opening.Measures 11–16 use sudden loud and soft contrasts, moving between f and p. These echo-like dynamic changes make the passage sound more dramatic, even though the texture is still mostly fast single-note motion.Measures 17–23 continue the broken-chord writing with quick hand changes and short rests.
