Its sound becomes progressively fuller as the lower voice joins the upper pattern. Measures 1–16 develop short upper figures over separated bass notes. A stronger high-register passage descends into a brief slurred link. Measures 17–24 restore the main idea with repeated lower intervals, creating a denser chordal texture. Measures 25–32 shift the continuous eighth notes into the bass, then reunite the parts in emphatic closing chords. Interesting fact: The brief connected descent in measure 16 stands out against the staccato articulation that dominates nearly the entire piece.
