First published: unknown. Completeness: unknown.Türk’s Volume 1, No. 11 is a small D-major romance marked Andante con grazia. Its two independent lines combine gentle melodic curves with a few expressive chromatic details. The upbeat leads into measures 1–2, where the melody drops into a lower range and then rises again. Longer bass notes support the opening before the lower line begins to move more freely. Measures 3–4 enliven the melody with shorter notes and a chromatic inflection, then turn upward into the next phrase. Measures 5–8 recall the opening contour, vary its continuation, and draw both voices toward the final cadence. The upper line settles while the bass completes its last downward movement. Interesting fact: The historical edition gives this piece the more descriptive heading ‘Kinder-Romanze’—a children’s romance.
