Small ornamental notes add a light flourish to its repeating phrases. The opening tune is followed by a second idea with a more active inner line. After the first melody returns, both hands move together in a stronger passage of rising and falling eighth notes. The quieter tune reappears with altered harmony, and a detached closing passage gradually reduces the texture to a few final gestures. Interesting fact: the central passage temporarily replaces the sustained accompaniment with the same flowing rhythm in both hands, creating a clear change without changing the meter.
