Measures 13–24 broaden the melody into running figures and paired notes before a G-major cadence. At m. 25 the music turns to C major; the contrasting material in mm. 25–36 mixes lighter single-note figures with chordal responses. Measures 37–56 expand the upper register and alternate ornamental double notes with flowing runs, before the printed D.C. directs a return to the opening.
