A smoother single-note phrase follows, broadening through chromatic changes. 2. Measures 13–31: Upper dyads and small ornaments develop the phrase before a more flowing exchange. Short upper gestures overlap descending lower responses, with held inner notes between them. 3. Measures 32–58: The quiet melody returns over the rocking accompaniment. Its continuation adds running figures and fuller dyads, followed by another exchange of upper phrases and lower descents that ends with the upper part alone. 4. Measures 59–70: Rising figures pass from the lower part to the upper part around sustained chordal responses. The layered opening material returns and reaches into the octave-marked upper register. 5. Measures 71–75: Chromatic upper motion rises through the register, then gives way to a high isolated note.
