“Chopin - Polonaise in G Minor - B. 1” is a short two-page early Romantic piano piece marked Allegro maestoso. The music has a clear polonaise character, with a strong 3/4 pulse, accented rhythms, repeated phrase patterns, and a D.C. al Fine form. Although this is an early work by Chopin, it already shows the ceremonial energy of the polonaise through bold opening gestures, sharp accents, and contrasts between stronger and softer sections.Measures 1–8 present the opening polonaise theme. The right hand carries a firm melody with dotted rhythms and accented figures, while the left hand supports with a steady dance-like accompaniment.
