This C-major Allegro in common time combines right-hand eighth-note phrases, detached notes and grace notes over a bass-and-chord accompaniment. Measures 13–16 introduce moving left-hand eighth notes beneath right-hand intervals; measures 17–20 restore the more active right-hand melody.
