Measures 10–25 develop shorter running figures through changing harmonies and registers, sometimes placing the melody in the bass clef, before a chordal pause. The opening ascent returns in measure 26. Measures 30–39 expand the runs into repeated arpeggio figures, exchanges between the hands, and accented closing chords.
