Completeness: unknown.Gradus ad Parnassum, Op. 44 No. 27, is an Allegro con fuoco whose energy comes from repeated-note groups set against sustained voices. Clementi creates a layered, resonant texture in which short rhythmic gestures continually overlap longer melodic lines. Three repeated upper notes launch the piece, and the figure soon moves inward beneath held tones. Broad bass phrases support the shifting upper harmonies, while accents and chromatic changes heighten the momentum. The middle brings more of the repeated-note activity into the lower register and builds toward fuller exchanges between both parts. Later, dense repeated chords and high-register writing enlarge the sound. After a final forceful passage, the texture diminishes to pianissimo and rests on two spacious, held closing harmonies. This piece closes the first volume in the edition: the final page is explicitly marked Fin du 1er Volume, giving its broad ending a larger role within the collection.
