This Presto Finale in 2/4 develops a compact idea into a lively dialogue across the keyboard. The upper line begins almost alone, with the bass entering in brief replies before taking up the opening figure itself. The texture expands through overlapping phrases, sustained inner notes, and sequences that climb into the high register. Held pauses punctuate the movement and prepare renewed statements of the main idea. In the later passages, chordal repetition and a more active bass strengthen the drive toward the emphatic final cadence. An interesting detail is the theme's entrance in the bass after its first upper statement: the same rising shape becomes an answering voice, helping turn a simple opening into a contrapuntal exchange.
