The arrangement begins with a clear melodic statement over chordal support, then expands into broken left-hand motion, a 6/8 middle section, thicker chordal writing, and a final running accompaniment that gives the ending more brightness and movement.Measures 1–25 present the main hymn material in common time. The melody is placed clearly in the upper voice while the left hand moves between blocked chords, bass support, and broken accompaniment figures. The texture gradually becomes more active, especially as the left hand begins adding more eighth-note motion underneath the melody.Measures 26–38 move into a 6/8 section with a lighter, more flowing character. The right hand continues the hymn melody while the left hand uses broken patterns and wider movement.
