Measures 1–7: A softly marked E-flat-major theme in 2/4 pairs short decorated chordal gestures with rests and an answering bass figure. 2. Measures 8–20: A forte ornamented phrase expands into running lines, followed by a longer melody above repeated left-hand intervals and a trill cadence. This first section repeats. 3. Measures 21–37: The opening gestures return and pass through changing harmonies. Sustained tones overlap moving inner lines before the short motif returns again. 4. Measures 38–44: Trills, slurred ornamental figures and interwoven upper and lower parts continue the contrasting passage. 5. Measures 45–56: The opening rhythm returns with a crescendo and fuller punctuation. A longer closing melody, triplet decorations and descending ornamental figures lead to the final cadence and second repeat.
