The A-major opening, mm. 1–20, combines detached rising figures with slurred replies, accents and short ornaments above a regular bass-and-chord accompaniment. The repeated second strain, mm. 21–36, begins p dolce with paired upper notes and longer slurs, then rises through brighter sixteenth-note figures before its cadence. The Coda, mm. 37–70, opens with dotted octave gestures and chordal punctuation. A quieter answer expands into chromatic runs and returning melodic figures in mm. 42–55. Grace-led flourishes alternate with held upper intervals in mm. 56–59; descending upper notes and insistent lower chords then lead to the final runs, separated chords and fermata close.
