Its flowing upper patterns repeatedly give way to answering bass passages. Measures 1–16 develop the opening turn over a spacious lower line, then pass the running motion to an ascending bass scale. Measures 17–32 contrast lighter upper arches with another extended bass-led passage. The final section restores the chromatic upper figure and expands its range. High-register runs lead into a closing passage where both parts share the moving texture before the sustained final chord. Interesting fact: The closing octave indication carries the upper line well above its opening register, making register itself part of the final buildup.
