A flowing C-major study sets short right-hand sixteenth-note figures against alternating left-hand thirds and single bass notes. Chromatic neighbours colour the opening patterns, and the repeated first section rises to a longer-held high note. The middle passage expands the melodic register and introduces sharper chromatic inflections before a brief staccato reply. The opening ideas return in an upper octave, leading to a rising final cadence.
