  • No Transaction Fees: RoadToVirtuosity is free to use, so you can practice, share, and progress without financial worry.
  • Cons: You can only use non-copyrighted music. Any music under copyright cannot be submitted for points. All points earned will be unverified and won’t count toward certificates or competitions. Community feedback may vary in quality, as it depends on random user evaluations. If you prefer consistent, personalized feedback, you may want to consider paid options.



If You Have a Teacher

  • Teacher Access: If your teacher reaches level 250 on RoadToVirtuosity, they can join as a teacher and manage your submissions.
  • Free Usage: Even with a personal teacher, students can continue using the platform for free, benefiting from its wide resources.
  • Copyrights: Your teacher will be able to approve music that is copyrighted.
  • Cons: Participation in official Certificate Programs or competitions isn’t included in free accounts with personal teachers.

  • Admin Teacher Advantages:
    • No video submissions—admin teachers can approve your performance if played well during lessons. No need to record every piece.
    • Discounted prices for Certificate Programs.
    • Custom additions to the sheet music library based on your repertoire needs.



For Certificates or Competitions Only

  • Independent Certification: No teacher is required to join the Certificate Program or competitions. Just create an account, learn the required pieces, submit payment, and achieve your goal.
  • Optional Feedback: If you need support, feel free to request a one-time lesson or video feedback for targeted advice.
  • Cons: Each video submission will require payment.
