Check the coordination of short slurs, rests, and offbeat entries at a slow tempo before restoring the movement’s flow.

One rewarding detail is the changing distribution of activity between the hands. The opening places most of the melodic interest above a lighter accompaniment, but later the left hand becomes much busier while the upper line uses simpler gestures. Make that contrast audible without reversing the balance so strongly that the melody disappears.
